Review our COVID-19 Policy and Procedures

Covid-19 Policy And Procedures

If you are coming into the office for an appointment, we want you to know the steps we are taking to ensure your safety as well as that of our staff:

  • Daily health symptom screenings.  All of our staff and patients are screened before they are allowed into the office.  If you have any of the following symptoms, have been around anyone with such symptoms or anyone with known or suspected COVID-19 infection, we ask that you call to reschedule your appointment  (fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, headaches, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of taste or sense of smell, extreme fatigue).

  • Face masks.  We require all employees and patients to wear face masks while in the office.  Please come with a face mask on (a cloth face mask is acceptable).

  • Social distancing.  We have arranged our office space to ensure that patients and employees can maintain appropriate physical distancing.

  • Companion restrictions.  We ask that you come to your appointment alone; if you need a caregiver or are a minor requiring a guardian, you are limited to one companion.

  • Hands-free signing.  We have changed our office policy to allow for hands-free signing of forms, consents and payment slips.  With your verbal permission, we will sign these forms for you.

  • Cleaning protocols.  Our premises, instruments, and office equipment are disinfected and cleaned/sterilized on a regular basis with detailed attention to infection control.  In exam rooms, this protocol includes cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces, exam tables, chairs, instruments, pens, handles, etc. before and after every patient visit.
